Oscar Gonzalez (born March 7,
1973 in San José, Costa Rica) is
an internationally-acclaimed
Costa Rican/American dancer,
choreographer, entertainer,
model, certified personal/group
fitness master trainer and
licensed Zumba® instructor who
has brought his Latin flavor and
unique style to the East and
West coasts of the United States
and is currently residing in the
Hamptons Long Island and New
York City, New York.
Oscar is the founder and
creative director of Danz-O and
offers professional dance
performance, dance instruction,
choreography, entertainment,
modeling and fitness training
with over 15 years of
experience. The Danz-O aerobic
workout is "the ultimate
performance experience" that
combines muscular strength,
fitness and the enjoyment of
dance mixing Latin, samba,
merengue, salsa, disco, pop and
hip hop into a variety of
movements for a calorie burning,
cardiovascular interval routine
suited for all fitness levels.
Oscar is known in Manhattan and
in the "chic" Hamptons as "The
Trainer To The Stars" (currently
training for Supermodel,
Christie Brinkley; Warner Bros.

Oscar has combined his
party-producing skills along
with his love of Broadway shows,
musicals, concerts and music
videos to create the ultimate
high energy, fun class. As an
overall entertainer with a
passion for fitness he brings a
high energy party atmosphere to
his Danz-O classes every week.
This entertainment aspect of
creating a party atmosphere,
using props, lighting and
interaction with his students as
well as his infectious energy
and charisma is what keeps his
classes jammed packed every
week.

choreographed a commercial for
1-800-OKCABLE and he is a
Personal Trainer contributor for
Time Out NY, Weight Watchers
Magazine and Cosmo Radio on
Sirius Satellite Radio.
Oscar has danced for Ann
Reinking and was a Master
Instructor in Central Park for
special events promoting Self
Magazine which have been
attended by 10,000 people. He
became a spokesman for the
Nestle Company and Kellogg
promoting their products across
the country. His generosity with
the Make A Wish Foundation,
Joan's Arc Legacy and Mercy
First have helped children to
have toys at Holiday time and
adults in their quest for a cure
for cancer.
As a master presenter at the
Fitness Festival in Florence
Italy in 2007 and 2008 his
classes were some of the most
attended by participants and
drew rave reviews from the
festival organizers. Oscar has
been one of the master
instructors at the Fitness
Festival 2011 in Rome, Italy.
Oscar has a Bachelor's Degree in
marketing/advertising.
